Installation
CookieCuller is compatible with Firefox 2.0.0.x, 1.x, and Mozilla 1.x.
The install contains localization support for French (fr-FR), Italian (it-IT), Dutch (nl-NL), Chinese-Traditional (zh-TW), Czech (ds-CZ), Japanese (ja-JP), and Spanish (es-ES). My thanks to the respective translators for their work.
To install the CookieCuller extension, click on the link below.
(If you receive a "File Not Found" message, please note that new releases take time to distribute to all the mirror sites)
Installation Notes:
Firefox
After clicking on the installation link above, you will get the "Protection" message near the top of the Firefox window as shown the screenshot below. Either click the "Edit Options" button to add the cookieculler.mozdev.org url to Allowed Sites list and re-click the Installation link or download the CookieCuller XPI file to your hard drive and use File -> Open File to begin the installation.
After installation, right click on the toolbar, click Customize, then drag the CookieCuller icon to the toolbar. Close the Toolbar customization window.
Click on the CookieCuller icon to access the CookieCuller dialog.
If you see any icon corruption, do one or both of the following:
- Type "about:config" in the address bar, hit <enter>, then close and restart Firefox.
- Close Firefox, delete the xul.mfl(windows)/xul.mfasl(linux)/"XUL FastLoad File"(mac) file in your profile directory.
Mozilla
"Enable Software Installation" must be "checked" in order to install extensions.
To access the CookieCuller dialog, click Tools -> CookieCuller
Linux
Under Linux, you'll need to manually change the access permissions for the cookieculler.jar file.
